Asiima TV Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
This policy covers Asiima TV specifically. For company-wide privacy practices, see our General Privacy Policy.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Asiima TV is an IPTV media player application that does not host, provide, or control any media content. This privacy policy covers only the Asiima TV application software, NOT any third-party content or services you may access through it.
3. Asiima TV - Information We Collect
3.1 Application Data (Stored Locally on Your Device)
The following information is stored locally on your device only:
- Content source configurations (server URLs, usernames, MAC addresses)
- Watch history and resume positions
- Favorites and watchlist items
- Application settings and preferences
- Cached stream URLs and playlist data
- Category and content metadata from your providers
3.2 Content Source Credentials
When you add content sources (Xtream, Stalker, M3U) to Asiima TV:
- Your credentials are stored locally on your device only
- Credentials are used to authenticate directly with the content provider's servers
- The Company never receives, transmits, or stores your content source credentials on our servers
- Authentication happens directly between your device and the content provider
- Stream URLs are resolved and cached on-device — content never passes through our servers
3.3 iCloud Sync Data
Asiima TV uses Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your data across your Apple devices:
- Account configurations are synced so you can use the same sources on all devices
- Watch progress is synced so you can continue watching on any device
- Favorites and My List items are synced across devices
- Parental control settings are synced via iCloud key-value store
- All synced data is stored in YOUR iCloud account, protected by Apple's encryption
- The Company does not have access to your iCloud data
- Downloads (offline video files) are stored locally only and are not synced
- Stream URL cache and authentication tokens are stored locally only and are not synced
3.4 Local Logging
Asiima TV uses Apple's built-in system logging (OSLog) for diagnostic purposes:
- Logs are stored locally on your device only and are never automatically sent to the Company
- Logs may include: navigation events, operational data, and error information
- Logs do NOT include: content viewing history, IPTV credentials, stream URLs, or personal data
- You may choose to include diagnostic logs when submitting feedback (see Section 3.5)
Asiima TV does NOT use Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or any external crash reporting or analytics service. No data is automatically collected or transmitted to the Company or third parties.
3.5 Voluntary Feedback and Diagnostic Data
Asiima TV includes an optional in-app feedback feature that allows you to report bugs, request features, or send general feedback. This feature is entirely voluntary. When you submit feedback, you may choose to include:
Diagnostic Logs (opt-in, enabled by default):
- App activity logs including timestamps, navigation events, and operational data
- Sensitive metadata (passwords, tokens, URLs, usernames, MAC addresses) is automatically redacted before submission
- URLs appearing in log messages are stripped to scheme and host only (paths and query parameters removed)
- Excessive playback/player logs are filtered out
Account Credentials (opt-in, disabled by default):
When you explicitly enable "Share Account Credentials," the following may be included:
- Server URLs, portal URLs, or playlist URLs
- Usernames and passwords
- MAC addresses, device IDs, serial numbers, and PINs
- Account type and connection configuration details
Only enable this if specifically requested by our support team to reproduce your issue.
How we protect your submitted data:
- All data is transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Diagnostic logs and account credentials are never placed in issue tracker entries visible to our team
- Sensitive attachments are stored in encrypted cloud storage (AES-256 server-side encryption)
- Access links to sensitive data expire after 7 days
- All sensitive attachments are permanently deleted after 30 days
- Only the feedback description, app version, platform, and optional email appear in our issue tracker
You maintain full control: you can choose to include neither diagnostic logs nor credentials, logs only, or both. The feedback feature cannot be triggered without your explicit action.
4. Asiima TV - Information We Do NOT Collect
The Company does NOT automatically or passively collect:
- Information about content you watch, stream, or listen to
- Your viewing habits, preferences, or history (for our purposes)
- Your IP address or geographic location
- Device identifiers for advertising purposes
- Information about the content sources you configure
- Any data about the media content accessed through the Application
- Your IPTV provider credentials, stream URLs, or EPG data
Note: If you voluntarily submit feedback with diagnostic data or account credentials enabled (see Section 3.5), that data is collected only for the specific purpose of resolving your reported issue and is subject to the protections described above.
4.1 No Server Infrastructure for Content
The Company does not operate any proxy servers, content delivery networks (CDNs), relay servers, caching servers, or any other infrastructure that processes, routes, stores, or transmits media content. All streaming connections are established directly between the User's device and the User's third-party content provider. No content data, stream URLs, playlist files, electronic program guide (EPG) data, or media of any kind passes through servers owned or operated by the Company at any point.
5. Asiima TV - Third-Party Content and Services
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER REGARDING THIRD-PARTY SERVICES:
When you use Asiima TV to connect to third-party content sources (IPTV services, streaming providers, etc.):
